Fill with water and insert your items

Take the Ultrapod case off it's dock and fill with water. Add your jewelry or dental appliance.

Dock Ultrapod and start the cleaning cycle

Place the filled Ultrapod case back on the base and tap the round button on the base. Ultrapod will turn off automatically after 3 minutes.

Take out your freshly cleaned appliance

    Is Ultrapod just for retainers?

    Nope!

    Ultrapod can be used for retainers, aligners, dentures, mouthguards and even jewelry!

    How long does Ultrapod take to clean?

    3 Minutes!

    The days of waiting 5 minutes for your retainers to clean are over. We've optimized Ultrapod to be 40% more efficient than other popular ultrasonic cleaners on the market.

    Does Ultrapod use batteries?

    It does not. While Ultrapod is modular and portable, it was designed to minimize waste. Current battery technology just doesn't allow a small enough (or long lasting) batteries that can support Ultrapod's cleaning power. However, we built Ultrapod to use USB-C to allow you the flexibility to use it anywhere!

    Can I just use my toothbrush or cleaning tablet?

    Depends.

    Tablets
    Studies have shown that the best possible way to clean your appliances is with the use of a cleaning tablet AND Ultrasonic cleaner. That being said, we do not think you have to use an ultrasonic cleaner or tablet every day.

    Toothbrushing
    Toothbrushes are just mechanical cleaners with very limited cleaning potential compared to ultrasonics. Toothbrushes also offer zero antibacterial properties outside of physical removal.

    Toothpaste
    Believe it or not, over-the-counter (OTC) toothpastes are not actually anti-bacterial. Toothpaste is primarily a mechanical aid to remove bacteria, not kill them. In fact, toothpaste is more of a oral freshener than an oral cleaner. While fluoride has some anti-bacterial properties, it's mainly used for enamel repair. If you were to use a toothbrush, you can just avoid toothpaste altogether.

    Only a few toothpastes have antibacterial properties, and they use Triclosan, which is linked to a number bad effects in humans.

    Can Ultrapod clean Invisalign/aligners?

    Yes, the Ultrapod can effectively clean clear Aligners and Invisalign from all brands with excellent results. The Ultrapod will also be great for cleaning your retainer after aligner treatment.

    Can Ultrapod clean Jewelry?

    Yes. Ultrapod uses a premium high-frequency cleaning system operating at 56,000 Hz, designed for cleaning of delicate and precise objects.
